The NCT offers a way of meeting other parents and children through Open Houses. As a parent, or parent-to-be, you can drop into other parents houses at specific times without invitations or special arrangements. You do not have to be a member of the NCT to attend an Open House.
Open Houses are generally held weekly or fortnightly at a regular time. The Open House organiser for each area will usually have a list of dates and venues.
You will be very welcome! Expectant mothers: it can be very useful to go to an Open House before you have your baby as it can be a good opportunity to get to know people a bit, before you're having to feed, wind, and console your newborn!
